Ingredients
- 1 Cup of Oats
- 2 TBSP Ground Flax
- 1/2 Cup Nut Butter
- 1/4 Cup Honey or Maple
- 1 tsp Vanilla
- 1/3 Cup Choc Chips
- 45g Lindt Cooking Choc
- 1 TBSP Real Butter
- 1/2 Cup Desicated Coconut
Instructions
Step 1
In a pan – Heat the nut butter and honey to soften and mix together
Step 2
In a bowl, mix the oats & flax together. You may want to blits the oats first into a fine powder if they are too chunky.
Step 3
Mix the warm honey/butter in with the dry oats and flax mix. Pop in the fridge to cool the mix down. Once cooled, then add in choc chips.
Step 4
Once cooled, add in the chocolate chips. Using your hands, roll the mixture into 10 balls.
Step 5
Melt your Lindt cooking chocolate and butter together. Once melted you can then cover your energy balls using a spoon.
Step 6
Once all your energy balls are covered in melted chocolate, place them on a cooling tray. I advice popping some paper towel under neath the tray to grab any dripping chocolate. To top off the balls, sprinkle the coconut on top.
Step 7
Pop the energy balls into the fridge to allow the melted chocolate to harden.
Lastly.
Store in the fridge for up to 10 days. Enjoy these with a cuppa or a snack pre workout!
